Introducing A Community: Foreign Women In China
Today I have some very good news for you, well for the women readers. Yesterday I was talking in QQ with a new friend of mine. She shared an idea to have a community for foreign girls that have Chinese boyfriends. I agreed, because it was a great idea. Soon we decided to widen it a little bit and set up a community for all the foreign women living in China or who otherwise have a strong connection with this amazing country.

What is this community for?
There are lots of forums about China and some are really good ones. But we wanted to set up a more closed community so we could more freely discuss about our life, work, study, relationships and so on. We want to share our experiences and ask advice from other girls living in China.
Only registered users are able to read the topics, write or reply. So if you are a foreign woman living in China, or you have lived here or maybe you have a Chinese husband, welcome to register and join our community!

January 3rd, 2011 at 11:45 pmAnglea, Nice to hear that you like the idea, but sorry this time it is only for foreign women. Why? Because me and my friend felt like there is no community just for us. Where we could freely discuss and share our ideas with people like us. There are lots of forums and communities out there Angela, I’m sure you can find yours.

To creat this unique and fresh forum is a good idea, and if you wanna promote and attract more foreign women to join the community, you can try to search the QQ group with “foreigners” etc~

Hi Sara,
I’m so glad you started this up. I had heard demand for something like this from readers of my blog, but I just don’t have the energy/time to moderate a forum. So thank you for doing this!
I just shared it on my Facebook page, and tweeted it, so hopefully more people will hear about it.

Sam, Yes because otherwise it would be just like any other China forum. If you want to participate on a good forum I really recommend Chinese-Forums.
